A morality tale told through dance and music, The Soldier's Tale follows a young soldier tempted by the devil. Exploring yin/yang dualities, two dancers together portrayed the devil. In all costumes, color, movement and texture through ethnic inspired pattern was key to the design. Devil costumes transformed throughout the piece, stripping down to become more basic, more primal, as the soldier fell further into the Devil's grip.
